Luckily, it looks like fixed marriages are still available in the dog world!  Someday, I’ll have a herd of my own!

My bradah and sistas include a pair of Golden Retrievers and two Wheaten Terriers.  Those terriers (Ono and Bogie) often drive Wendy crazy, as they are stock dogs too, but just a bit more “on the job” than I.  Mom often has to call them off.  They are happy ole dogs with lots of energy and self-confidence.  When I am napping, they are sure to alert me to the goings on at the farm.  They seem versatile, considering that some people clip them like poodles!  They are my ancestral neighbors, you know, originating in Ireland.  They were the poor man’s dog, an all-purpose farm dog, and often patrolled the borders of small farms.  Good thing that I have them as backups! If you are looking for a Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier, Wendy can likely hook you up!
